I’m reliably informed that Trendroid are two New York City doctors who, in their spare time (as if doctors have any), make house records. Favouring a progressive style that encapsulates the sound of Tenaglia, Satoshi Tomiie and Bedrock. “Trendication” that takes the vocal line “this is a dedication to house music” from KOT’s “House Anthem” and spins it atop a peak-hour slab of techno-funked house. As with the label’s Superchumbo release last year, there’s longevity to be found here, and this one has enough fuel in its grooves to keep the bassbins pounding all summer long.
