If you guys want a more in-depth look at this pressing, I unbox it in the video linked below:https://youtu.be/ILoespXGNx4Cheers

Pretty happy with my copy. If I didn't get this album through VMP I definitely would have tried to have purchased at some point in time on standard black vinyl. IV is a really nice record to sit and listen to - especially at night. The jacket for my copy wasn't tight at all so I'm not sure what happened there. Only problem is there are some consistent pops during the first 30 seconds of In Your Eyes (D1) but its not really worth asking VMP for a new copy for.

Grarana
Time Moves Slow ..........SH slickness on the Mic....(T E N M OR E........

Fenrinos
Mine came with the spindle hole so tight could not go on. I had to get a new one sent.

Cyregaehus
dude, just swivel a flathead screwdriver maybe 1/4-1/2way around inside the hole and it'll be perfect.

Agantrius
Mine is exactly the same. I have to sit for 2 minutes carefully lifting it from the spindle.

Dogrel
you just needed to slightly shave off the inside part of the spindle with the edge of knife.. not a big deal

HelloBoB:D
Great record, but holy shit...the jacket for this record (much like last month's Well Fargo album) is incredibly tough to put the record back in. Anyone else have any issues with these at all? I'm almost afraid I'm going to tear the sleeve wide open trying to fight in the vinyl in.

Burirus
Yup, I have the same problem and mine is the original pressing, not the "Vinyl Me Please" one!

HeonIc
Yeah, that Wells Fargo one is insanely tight. The BadBadNotGood record was a little easier when it had a little shelf live in my Kallax next to my other records, but the Wells Fargo jacket is still a pain!

Vobei
Huh, that's really strange, I don't have that issue at all... In fact I laughed at how strangely large the jacket sleeves seem. They puff out oddly on my copy.

Milleynti
Yeah, both mine were very tight, especially Wells Fargo one. Cannot comment on others, as those were the first two orders I received from VMP.

Globus
So mine came with an unmarked, white label 7". Haven't had a chance to listen to it, but am I the only one? Anyone know what it is? I'm not super familiar with BBNG's discography so I probably couldn't recognize it even if I heard it.

Doulkree
Got one of these as well. It was a nice surprise since I've been an on and off again member.

kolos
I'm jeleous. I've been a VMP member for a bit now and never received one of those unmarked ones. Interested to know how they pick the tracks and what thier angle is with it.

Awene
paulbtucker I'll see if I can remember the forum and link it here in a follow up comment. They have been doing this since November '15. http://forum.vinylmeplease.com/index.php?tags/secret-7/

MisterQweene
I got the unlabeled 7" as well. I read on another forum this has been an experiment that VMP is doing. I am not sure to what effect. The 7" is not associated with the record of the month, as far as I can tell from listening to it (I have heard all of BBNG's previous releases) and from the other forum. Although pure speculation, I would guess the 7" is intended to expand the club member's horizon. By giving you a couple songs for free without any precondition to the genre or artist, you listen more actively In a sense this is the purpose of the club format, but as time has gone on VMP has reduced that focus. First, they opened the store which requires the explicit member choice, and now you can swap your monthly record for another. Maybe they are trying to get back to that root focus on exploration in some way. I'll see if I can remember the forum and link it here in a follow up comment.

Monn
I am interested in buying the 7" single if someone doesn't want.

Phalaken
Pretty common for them to do that. Best record club around. http://forum.vinylmeplease.com/index.php?threads/july-16-secret-7.3665/

Keth
I got a copy of Tourist a few months back. I think it's great that they do that. You're meant to figure out what the artist is. They do that to generate buzz for a potential upcoming release. If you check out the VMP Forums, people usually post about the 7" each month. First person to call out the artist usually get a prize or something like that.

Hulbine
Wow really?! Do you have any way you can rip the audio and post it somewhere?

AnnyMars
I got one as well and spun it. It was something that I was definitely not familiar with, so I asked Siri what songs were on it. One of the songs came out to be "A Minor Life" by Sir Was, but the other side could not be recognized. I would assume that it was another tune by Sir Was.

RED
It's a VMP secret 7". Only about 3000 are included in monthly shipments. pretty rare find. once the artist and song titles have been determined it should be listed as a separate release. see this example: https://www.discogs.com/Minor-Victories-Untitled/release/8633361

Water
Ah. Yeah I listened to it today and it sounds like kevin parker over some electronic instrumentals. I emailed them, I'm curious as to what it is. Is there any sort of way to figure it out besides emailing them? Kind of a shitty promotional item if it doesn't even list who made the songs imo

Akinohn
This is something VMP likes to do from time to time. I doubt it's a BBNG song. They use this as a kind of promotion tool for small bands they like or might have agreements with. Last one I got was a single from Whitney.
