If you're a fan of cheesy 80s pop, this compilation may be right up your neon-infused alley. Songs like "I Wanna Be A Cowboy" "Pass The Dutchie" and "One Night in Bangkok" definitely ramp up the cheese factor. And, yes, I owned the Boys Don't Cry cassette at one point in my life, but the only album I own by any of these groups now is Reach The Beach by The Fixx. They were a quality group and really don't deserve to be here.Most of the other songs are enjoyable, but I have to be in the right mood for Scritti Politti and OXO. Given the title of this collection, it's too bad they didn't include a Squeeze song. And I would have replaced "Dancing In Heaven" with, well, almost anything else -- maybe "Let's Go All The Way" by Sly Fox or "The Rain" by Oran "Juice" Jones. Otherwise, this is a filling helping of flashback faves from the cheesiest decade ever, the 80s.
