Planet Funk give Bent's STAY THE SAME a dancefloor treatment, setting the guitars to full fuzz. It's a rock song with a kick drum and reverb! But "Lupin Glade" gets us back to the beautiful, dreamy Bent that we've become accustomed to, a layered, almost folksy track. And the beatless "Different Hill" could almost be the theme to a 60s daytime soap opera, though, obviously, with more of a sense of humor than most.
