Thomand
Beautiful collection of music to play over, and over, and over. Lovely integration of acoustic instruments and electronics. Original and prolific. But, then again, all Flashbulb/Jordan releases are.

The Apotheoses of Lacspor
I have to agree with hark_mall. Exit breakcore or other hard electronic style. Benn L. Jordan have produced a soft record where music is really pleasant (it doesn't mean his previous stuff is not pleasant!). We can find here some well-written compositions with classical instruments as saxo, violin/cello, piano, harp, xylophone (?), acoustic guitar, drum. That confirm Benn L. Jordan is a real musician. But I think we all knew it... Maybe not essential but really good release from The Flashbulb. 4/5.

Rollers from Abdun
This release from The Flashbulb is a very different one, both proving Jordan's relentless talent in composing as well as performing. Traces of IDM influences are completely absent, as the album at best guess fits into the genres of jazz or possibly even funk-rock. There's no masturbatatory beats or solos. Just amazingly well written compositions, unique analog sound design, and a completely new take on an oldschool method of music recording and production. I would normally advise breakcore fans to be weary of this "vacation" from that genre, however this collection of compositions seems more like an expedition and evolution in modern-steroidal electronic music. As always, Jordan's albums keep getting more and more enjoyable. 5/5
