Although this is purported to be a Magic Sam release and the picture on the front cover is of the famous Chicago guitarist and the sleeve notes detail his life and career, the material here is actually by Californian slide guitarist Ron Thompson. Thompson's name does not appear on the release.

This is definitely NOT Magic Sam, don't waste your money! How it ended up listed as Sam is a mystery! Unknown Magic Sam tracks seems like a holy grail but it is not him playing on this record but a slide guitarist unkwown to me!
