Similar bassline...

Following closely in December, the second Big Doint is dedicated to the mysterious LK and his 'Body & Soul' delight, a tropical excursion through sleazy deep landscapes of house and funk loops. Take the title track for example: it's deep and moody, but also recurring and hypnotic, somewhat remiscent of Moodyman's more dance-able cuts. It's because of the following track, that I learnt about the 'Perhentian' Islands, a laid-back resort just off the coast of Malaysia. Just close your eyes and relax and let the aptly titled lazy noon dreamer tol take your mind and drift it away on the sunny shores of the South China Sea. Closing this release is an 'Untitled' steady combo of short funk riffs and tight slapping percussions marching away while a distant delayed female chants in the background.

'Untitled' is amazing, superb release!

Forget the hype...It's a great record. Simple & honest filtered disco shti. Sure, it's not gonna win any awards for originality but it will be rocking many a dancefloor for years to come...

Lots of hype. I bought this for the untitled track. The other two are ok.
