Wherein The Bug (aka Kevin Martin from EAR, Techno Animal, God, Ice, Razor X Productions, King Midas Sound) meets Dylan Carlson from the band Earth. Here, dark ambient sound patterns rumble under the throb of militant post-techno beats and sustained, swelling, heavy guitar chords. Atmospheric hints of doom metal plant their power on slow electronic trip-hop beats. Subsonic bass notes vibrate your body and pull waves of hot lava sludge up from the planet core, covering life with a blanket of creepy opiate oscillation. “Concrete Desert” paints a stark, ominous instrumental audio environment with the blood of a lethargic Hell-spawn demon. Recommended only if you know how to return from the experience.

Properly odd stuff for fans of ambient, IDM, downtempo etc. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 4+/5.
