Quite a disappointing re-release from Nuclear Blast. This old gem is a great Dimmu Borgir album musically, although the production suffered massively of the typical digital blurry Abyss-production, as so many others... I had to listen to my old CD in order to check whether the production was really that bad. I lack any deep bass or clarity and it seems NB just pressed the CD master right on vinyl. I am aware that this is not a remaster of any kind, but some vinyl adaptation would have been nice. Furthermore there is no booklet (as opposite to the EDT vinyl re-issue), and parts like the thank you-part is gone. I would not recommend anyone to buy this re-issue unless you really need to have the versions of this album. Very disappointed at NB.
