"'Gate Sequencer' is a selection of records sourced over the last years from Hard Wax, Berlin, hand-mixed in a bedroom in Biarritz. It was made as the soundtrack to Thomas Jeppe's exhibition Compass Trouble Again, held in Teheran, Iran in February 2015. 200 copies were pressed to CD and given to exhibition visitors.

This mix was produced and distributed as a specific gesture; a record of our feelings attached to the club, a homage to the sweat and the energy, and an offering to new audiences in the Middle East. While we danced, the sound circulated onto the streets of Teheran."
