This doesn't make any sense....it says Jon Faddis plays Trumpet on A2, A3 and B2 at the bottom but if you look at the top after each song it doesn't mention him but does mention two other Trumpet players........So what is it ?

Some very, very good music here. Hands Down is one of the most "challenging" Bob James albums (if you can use that word in this genre). It has taken a long time to grow on me, but I've found it quite rewarding with its highly complex compositions and performances."Janus" is one of his best works. The first minute, especially, is simply awesome. Heavy use of jazz chords like minor and major 7s do reveal the era that this was made, to some extent, but they work so well to give the song some robust emotion.For me the best track is Mike Lawrence's haunting "Roberta." James's solo piano during the first three minutes is simply spine-tingling. I sort of wish the track ended at that point, but it moves to a somewhat overproduced piece. But I can't complain too much. Lawrence sadly passed away from cancer shortly after this album was recorded.It closes with the great "It's Only Me," a downtrodden number similar in spirit to "Fly Away" from Lucky Seven.
