I managed to get a signed boxset, I haven't opened it but the brown box it came in had a sticker on the front saying 'signed booklet" - how do you know if the 7" came with it in the UK? is that also in the box?

Remember, the US versions all came with the 7 inch but did not have a chance to be signed. The UK/World version had a chance to be signed and 25 of the orders relieved the 7 inch.

This confounds me. I'm in the US, I ordered as soon as it was announced. I received the pink boxset on 10/10. It is signed and also included the 7" single.

Did you order the box for $80 or the Gatefold for $70? I ordered the Gatefold for $70 and it still shows up as "Preorder" when I go to the merchnow.com/orders website. The other 2 items I ordered (EP & CD) don't have the little preorder graphic beside the album art, but the A Place For Us To Dream Gatefold Vinyl 4Xlp does. It is very frustrating. Everyone else seems to have gotten their order and I am still waiting for even a shipping confirmation. Glad that the single is included though. I don't care about signatures.

Yes its real. When the preorder went up there were two different sites to preorder from. One was the UK store/World and the other was a store exclusively for US/Canada. I had no choice but to order from the US store bc I'm in the US. Mine came in the mail today. The ones ordered from the US/Canada site all came with the 7 inch but none of the copies were signed. The people who ordered from the UK store had a chance at a signed booklet and 25 of the orders got the 7 inch for free. I was really annoyed that I was not able to order from the UK store because I wanted a chance at the signed copies. None of the US pressings are signed. I tried to order from the UK store but they did not ship to US/Canada.

As far as I can tell the US edition is real and delayed. I have it on pre-order, but it still has not been shipped. It also has the advantage of allegedly coming with the the 7" of Jesus's Son rather than a 5% chance of getting the 7" Single. To me that was worth it alone. I wish the website would offer some news though. It still says shipping on or about September 30th. Obviously, that did not happen.

Just received that nice pink edition with the 7" included. I wish it was pinker than this pale pink but anyway, very nice release. Mine is unsigned but I ordered it at the last minute. The sound is surprisingly good for colored record. ^^
