If you're a fan of blues garage, there's really nothing quite like The Alan Franklin Explosion's "The Blues Climax" LP. From it's done-in-one-take, almost sliding off the tracks session band vibe to Franklin's howling, ferocious vocals, it's a listen you won't be likely to forget. Sounding like they were speeding hard off a couple ampoules of Methedrine washed down with a Coke, they really took no prisoners on their LP and the 45s culled from it.
