decent afro funk with some dynamic soundscapes, but veers towards messy and jarring to the ear with it's relatively harsh instrumentation and vocals. in terms of soundscapes, in some ways it more closely resembles cumbia and brazilian instrumental music than it does afro funk, but there are better examples within those genres. in my opinion good afro funk shouldn't be consistently jarring to the ear, and there are so many better ways to spend 1.5K on afro funk music i barely know where to start...for a more authentic and raw sound, try kings bucknor jr, but honestly start anywhere but here!
