Killer Jam..Would love an OG of this but not gonna happen anytime soon

Perhaps the one OG P&P record I couldn't bear to part with if given an ultimatum. And that's saying something... CLASSIC. Much sampled break (the drums have been chopped & clipped over the years & found their way onto many Hip Hop records) & the Cloud One style synths, squelchy wet whistles & wobbly spoons blow it into outer space. There's an African vibe, and at the same time, some of the illest funk out there. An all time Disco Breaks golden nugget!!

Top, funky, spacey, "Soul of New York" material from Peter Brown and his production team that was recorded, mastered and pressed well, and sounds great on high-end equipment, in a big 1970s gas-guzzling luxury car and on a Sharp GF-777Z super-size boombox!HOWEVER, THERE IS A TIMING ERROR - Both sides are listed as being 10:00 but only time to about 5:30. The listed times on the second pressing and recent counterfeit pressing are more accurate. The grooves only take up about 1/2 of each side and there is no discernable pressing difference between the original and the second pressing by 21st Century Music.

Rather than space funk, I envision cruising city streets on a hot summer night in a black 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood. Awesome track.
