One of the best bands out there.I just wish they would really get on with making the world sit up and listen.Just do whatever is necessary to put them right up there. It is all very well having a philosophy or strict standards, but if that makes you essentially invisible and unknown, then it does not make any sense. The band should remember that the fans need to see and hear as much of them as possible.Stop being too independent and use what is offered and available to make the future a Milk Music and musical future. If nothing else, it would keep the band out of regular jobs or unemployed. You would have thought that would have been enough of an incentive.Let us hope that Milk Music still have the spirit to attack the future 24/7 and explore all avenue's

neiljbp, you write : "The whole point of being in a band that is worth anything is to make it as successful as possible, earn as much money as possible, enjoy the thrill of being in a band and not having a proper job, let as many people hear and love your music as possible etc etc etc." What if you are wrong? what if the whole point of being in a band is playing music with your friends, anytime you want, not everyday, not when you don't feel like it, not when you don't want your passion to be your "proper" job? What if there would be more constraints than rewards being in a bigger "major" label? What if being successful would consists in being happy with the music you play? Making your own choice? There's good and bad within the music industry, you have to respect the band's decisions, even though you think it's a waste. The records are here, available. You want everybody to listen to them? OK, don't give up, spread the word. It's a good, rare band.

O.K. pekka_fever.Listen, you can make the most out of your band by remaining independent as long as you approach the whole thing in a serious business like fashion. The whole point of being in a band that is worth anything is to make it as successful as possible, earn as much money as possible, enjoy the thrill of being in a band and not having a proper job, let as many people hear and love your music as possible etc etc etc.If that can happen with the help of a larger company to assist with the more mundane business aspects of the whole thing, then so be it.You say 'smart enough to remain independent', well that may be true but it is also true that they are not a major name or on the front covers of magazines or selling thousands of records and associated products or playing in front of thousands of die hard fans. etc etc etc.You be as small time as you want but I think in due course, Milk Music will do very well embracing the idea that a little help from the right corners of the music business is no bad thing. Face it pekka_fever, Milk Music have been around now for about 7 years. I think it's about time they stopped thinking like you and started thinking about their very big musical future and give themselves the chance to be a massive musical presence.

For what reason? being all burned out and caged like a certain Mr Cobain? Know your Punk lesson dude. Success is just how much money Big Companies are making out of you. Milk Music people are smart enough to remain independent,
