Chook & Phace prove that they are masters of the art by dropping this absolutely killer collab on Full Force.From the moment the needle drops on this vinyl, it takes you another dimension of the universe that you won't want to return from. If you thought that Retrograde was a bomb track, just wait 'til you get a load of these two intense tracks. This time, Chook joins forces with Phace to make an epic release.'Sculptured' (my favourite track in this release) is another combination of minimal techno and drum & bass. The first time I heard this track I was in awe over how well the whole song come out. All the way from the ominous intro through to the deep broody bass cuddled by the tech-savy synth stabs. This track almost has a sense of mystery about it. If you want space age music, this is it.'Frozen' (another totally awesome track) is a bit more of a dance floor tune. To me, there's a real jumping vibe about this whole track. The dreamy introduction paves the way for a sweet chilling atmosphere. This roller will thicken the airwaves up nicely leaving you wanting more after it finishes. Superb work. This release is just simply gorgeous! This will be a top shelf vinyl for many, many years to come. P.S. how come I can only give this release a maximum of 5 out of 5? :P
