Pettalo

I was a bit disappointed seeing the tracks that have been selected to cover, all these artists always seem to be in the top 100 whenever Mojo, Uncut, Q et al make their lists, safe critic choices. But Gabriel manage to make the songs his own, giving it overall a feel of an album, rather than a collection of songs. His stripped down torch song approach makes me feel like I'm listening to a Mark Hollis or The Blue Nile album.
