This unofficial release is getting a repress.

Mastered better than the original appearances of both tracks, it's nice--although not completely necessary--to have these tracks not all squished with shallow grooves like on the original pressings.I approve.

It's worth noting that you can pick up both the original 12" releases these tracks are culled from for less than a fiver... :) What was the point repressing two tracks you can pick up in the bargain bin? I thought represses were the reserve of hard to find tunes and stuff that's OOP. What a funny world collectors live in :)

heh!just a bit of patience and you can save pant loads of money.i've known some good friends that were (probably still are!) hard core collectors (they had to have EVERY edition of certain records etc.).i felt sorry for them at times, due to the amount of money that they have to acrue to sustain that adiction.and it IS an adiction, make no mistake about that one ;)

When this limited 12" came out I was already wondering if those two tracks really are AFX & Autechre or "just" very very good counterfeits. The links to Saint Etienne confirm the obvious: It either is AFX / Autechre or a bad counterfeit. Two brilliantly orchestrated tracks which I would have loved to find on Autechre's "Incunabula" and AFX's "Analogue Bubblebath". AFX goes between industrial and "Selected Ambient Works", steel beats with a - back then - typical melancholic AFX melody, haunting you in your dreams. Autechre slip under your subconscious layers to throw some LSD into your centre. Threw me back to my first exploration days of Warp & Rephlex in 1995. Deep and hauntingly beautiful.

It seems you don't have a clue about AFX and/or Autechre. You didn't even click the links from WithOutBrain. First check if it's correct what you're talking.

Sadaron above the Gods
These are authentic remixes, as the links posted by WithOutBrain prove.

"It either is AFX or Autechre or a bad counterfeit." This comment doesn't make sense.
