The first release (numerically speaking) for PIR is an absolute anomaly. Instead of the R&B/soul you'd expect from this label, this is a little closer to rural rock. I'm not sure if Gideon Smith is the name of an individual or a band -- the copyright registration for the songs ascribes credit to one George Smith.
