Without a doubt, one of the best releases in the series. This album does very well to maintain a high level of satisfaction through the mixing which is brilliant, and they get better and better as you proceed to the end. It is a wicked edition to the series, and I would recommend this for die-hard techno fans and ultra clubbing gurus. I particularly enjoyed Rollo Goes Mystic's Love, Love, Love - Here I Come (Big Mix), B.B.E's Desire and The Space Brothers' Forgiven from the first disc. The second disc is just as awesome, if only slightly inferior. My favourites were Ruff Driverz's Don't Stop (Original 12" Mix), S-J's I Feel Divine (Tall Paul Mix), Viper's The Twister (Original Club Mix) and U.S.U.R.A's Open Your Mind '97. The build up between each song is superb, and it really shows as the quality is top notch.Great album for a trip down memory lane, or in a party environment. While some hits on the second disc are unnecessary, the first disc makes up for it.

I'm positive it is part of the 'In The Mix' official series because in the label it says mixed by Richard Evans. Like most of the previous releases, this one is mixed by the same DJ and he does an awesome job in all his contributions so I will definitely pick it up. I would call it 'In The Mix 2000 Volume 2'

Definitely. I have seen this odd looking release before as I’ve come across it. Never had the courage to actually buy it though because I want to find out who the mixer is. If it’s Richard Evans like with the others if it’s time then I’ll surely invest in it. Thought I’d also let you know that there are two other fantastic series out there that are just as awesome - being Big Mix (four releases in total across 1996 and 1997) and The Best Club Anthems Series (starting in 1997 and continuing through 2006)

I picked up this one https://www.discogs.com/Various-In-The-Mix-2000/release/1940245a couple of days ago - I don't think it's officially part of the "in the mix" series, even though it's on the same label (plus they already did an official in the mix 2000!) etc. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but I know what us CD mix buffs are like. have to complete the collection, wherever it may lead! Haha.Anyway, thought I would give you a prod in case it had slipped under your radar, as it had mine! :)
