How bad someone should be to not repress this one one more time...

"Sisters, I Don't Know What This World Is Coming To" is beautiful piece of melancholic house music that goes back to revisit an epoch of jazzy protohouse that I am not sure ever really existed in the first place. Samples The Soul Children feat. Jesse Jackson.

Quttaro
Also samples this beauty from the legend Roy Ayers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk1IwYgFnWc

♥ what a beauty (the only thing I wanted to write)

Bloody hell when will this record resurface? Over 2000 folks after it now. Let's be 'avin you!

Could someone please confirm whether the original cover is a generic black sleeve? Thanks

JoJolar
No, generic white sleeve.

Thetalune
I think "House Music Is Controllable..." contains samples of Catherine's Steve Kuhn, cataloged in ECM in 1977. If so, that brilliant use of technology!Midtown 120 Blues one's favourite albums

Somehow I have managed to get hold of a copy of this where the B side has only one track and it's NOT the Bassline Dub (which I was most interested in). Is this something that anyone else has come up against?

romrom
So just to make sure that I got it right - the MCDE Raw Mix is on this release?

Read the comments /reviews on this page. There was a mispress.

Kendis
@ OCCIDENTAL:its not a mispress.Mule Muisq is different from Mule Electronic, the former is parent label

Andronrad
There are mispresses out there. I had three of them. They have the label for mule musiq 38 but the vinyl is actually MULE 038. I never said all copies are mispresses. I never said your copy is a mispress.

virus
@awatsonThey are not the same. There are two versions of records with this label out there. One is correct, for this release. The other is a mistake pressing, with the Lawrence release as the vinyl (but with this DJ Sprinkles label). Comprende...?

Boraston
I'M ALWAYS RIGHT

Erthai
People trust the label to tell them what record it is. I'm letting my peers know there is a problem with this release, having this label and the vinyl from MULE 038. This isn't about "do[ing] 5 minutes of research first." This is about exposing a mispress that got by the pressing plant, the label, and the distributors. Which is how I ended up with the mispress. You completely miss the point by trying to out-right me and tell me I should do research.

Vosho
what i mean is that since they are from different labels the catalog numbers are different as well. the catalog number of this record says mule musiq 38, whereas the lawrence says mule 038. it wasn't very hard to figure this out on discogs.. maybe next time do 5 minutes of research first

what a flawless and sumptuous masterpiece is A1!..and yah, MCDE Bassline Dub is CRAZEEY!

Truthcliff
The MCDE Bassline Dub is indeed badass, and certainly the best reason to buy this 12". However, it took me quite a while to find a copy since I kept getting this record instead:http://www.discogs.com/Lawrence-Rabbit-Tube/release/1074620It is scribed "MULE 038" and "D&M" with this label for mule musiq 38. Someone made an error, and when I contacted Mule Musiq about the serious mispress issue they just ignored me. Now, having both copies in my hands right now, I can confirm the mispress. Make absolutely sure your seller has the correct pressing before buying a copy. I had to buy three copies before I got the correct record.

Xtintisha
technically it isn't the same, as this record is off the mule musiq label while the lawrence is off mule electronic. though it's the same parent company they are two distinct labels.

GoodLike
Grand Central, Pt. I (Deep Into The Bowel Of House) (MCDE Bassline Dub) bad bad bad ass baseline.. you NEED this 12" just for this cut.
