Jeffrey Brian White knows how to work his instruments - both the electronic and the real. "Eis Ijs Ice" is an atmospheric blend of skilled guitar work, electric noise and background ambience. The guitar works well with the electronics and makes this release stand out in a field populated by pure electro noise. Some more variety, however, would have been welcome. Still - worth checking out for a different take on the ambient noise genre.
