despite the intentional pops and stuff, this record is super cool. Very cinematic. The jacket artwork is beautiful and the discs are nice as well.

sent waxwork an email about the warped records. they asked to see a video of the records and got a reply the next day telling they will send out replacement disc sent once the have new batch of repressed vinyl.

Warped record here as well. Still plays ok, but a little disappointed still.

My copy has some crackle in the quiet sections of songs (e.g. first few minutes of Body Double) but I wouldn't call it noisy by any means. I expect it will improve with time, might just be caused by static. Vinyl colours are very nice, some very small discolourations can be seen on close inspection (such as a tiny brown squiggle in the yellow disc) but no scratches or marks that affect play. Inner sleeves are plain matt black and are polylined. The shoulder is quite wide but it fits into a plastic outer sleeve ok with a little work.

VERY noisy pressing with clicks/pops/etc, yellow disc left a bunch a debris on the needle (I use a brush before each play). I'm going to need to find someone with a cleaning machine to see if it helps any. This is honestly the most abysmal pressing I have ever gotten. I have some 90s hiphop that was abused by DJs, looks like they have been sanded and are on paper thin vinyl that have less surface noise. *edit: Yes the surface noise is in the digital version and that noise got pressed in the vinyl. BUT after doing an A/B comparison myself between the digital and vinyl versions there is still an unacceptable amount of noise in addition to the 'psudo' noise included from the digital release. Its kind of ridiculous that would happen but SOME of it is intentional.

You have to clean your vinyl before you play it. Brushing it off doesn't do much, especially with static. Buy yourself a proper wet cleaner and you'll get much quieter records.

Massive stains / scratches on the pink vinyl. Not happy at all.

you should contact them. My A/B disc was pretty warped so they had me send a short vid and said they would send me a replacement disc.
