A great compilation when I am in the mood for something a bit more hardcore (than my usual fare). Whether needing to vent some pent up aggression or building up to a big night out (etc) it is bound to give you an adrenalin rush/energy boost!Most of the bands are relatively unknown to me, however there are a number on there that I would like to hear more of. As such this acts as a good introduction.Unlike many compilations out there, tracks follow one another to form a cohesive whole. It is slightly retro in feel which is perfectly reflected by the Action Man themed cover art.However I must point out that my partner (female) hates it - which somehow makes it all the more satisfying! Perhaps you could liken this release to Marmite (a salty condiment from the UK) - you'll either love it or hate it!
