"Give it up" samples Janice McClain "Smack Dab in the Middle" from 1979, which was a very popular record at the paradise garage - an essential soul/disco record for those that like the "classics". I love that Janice McClain record myself.

Jazzy house (sometimes on the smoother side) with disco samples...this was an insider favorite with house DJ's back in the day. Anthony Mannino also released records as part of Paradise Inc. on Fourth Floor Records, another Northcott-distributed label.
