On Wednesday 11 July 2001 Herman Brood jumped from the roof of the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam. A few weeks later, he scored his first number one hit posthumously with My Way. In October 2001 appeared under that name is already a greatest hits cd and barely a month later, My Way-The Box. Via 92 songs on four CDs is a very complete overview of the career of this rock 'n' roll junkie. Seventeen tracks have never been released on cd, including four songs from the band's 1975 Vitesse, whose Bread short time singer was. this was an amazing and the best ever to date collection of herman broods history in rock!!!!! he was a dutch legend who started out in the 60s w/ cuby and the blizzards, he really seemed to hit it in parts of europe and of coarse holland in 1977 with his first wild romance lp during the punk explosion of 1977, anyway this dutch 4 cd box set does not come easy nowdays and the remastering is fantastic and the booklet inside is great w/ photos and all if you want to read it well then you must know how to read dutch, for any brood fan THIS IS THE COLLECTION TO GET!!!!!!
