Hard to believe that there are so few comments on this album, it's one of the best Hip Hop albums of all time and a classic of its era in the mid 1980s. This album is really well produced and has a nice variety of styles on show. You get both cuts from their first 12" the absolute classic 'Just Say Stet' which is a beat box banger and the rock guitar 'Rock De La Stet' which is a real favourite and a nice twist on the Run DMC rock style of the time. I think 'My Rhyme' is possibly the most slept on track from this album, it's a beautiful low tempo moody bassed banger, with some great raps and flows. The all time classic 'Go Stetsa' still sounds great to this day and is followed by the low tempo booming 808 title track 'On Fire' which really is dope. '4 Ever My Beat', 'Faye' and 'Bust That Groove' make up the other tracks and are all strong in their own right. This album is a great listen and still gets regular play from me after 30 years and I bought it when it was first released. A true Hip Hop classic.
