Less of a review, more of a story. Guy Chandler is my father and is alive and well. Just a few months ago, I discovered every available stereo master mix (16 in all) from the sessions which spanned from mid to late 1972. I have made digital transfers from the reels and am currently undergoing a bit of a remastering process..I have heard all of these songs on their respectful vinyl homes (click on Ed Gillum or Guy Chandler to see all on this site, I'm sure) and while they sound so good on record, it's such a thrill to be able to roll through every one of these to get them prepared for a potential re-release. It has taken him forever, but I've finally got him interested in his music again. He's just like any artist Should be (myself included). "It could have been better...etc" and then you wake up one day to realize you did do your best and that's what I hear in these songs. ESPECIALLY Someday, Little Children.
