This is a pretty decent compilation. I'm not a fan of the X-Press 2 feat. David Byrne track they chose to open the set with, but CD1 hits a good stride immediately after that song, starting with Sneaker Pimps "Six Underground" on track 2 (always welcome, this is a classic), Mozez/Zero7, Freeflow, Guidance "Personal Reality" in particular is lovely, instrumental, genre-blurred emoting — like a gauzy relaxed ocean sunset, background chord washes, delicate percussion (triangle?). Herbalism's "Run Away" is basically a beatless raga-flavored ambient track with a sort of low synth drone and textural shims in the background, a flute or pan-pipe makes an appearance after a bit. Honestly, it's good, but strikes me as too mournful in this mix.
