Oddly, my favorite of all Verve releases. They could do no wrong in this era. Even their acoustic versions here are more truly psychedelic than anything most self-labeled psychedelic groups will ever accomplish. Otherwordly, but simultaneously one of the best emotional, atmospheric descriptions of this life I've heard. Motes of dust in white light through a window at mid-day. The live version of "Gravity Grave" feels like everything all coming together and being made heavier, then lifted high.
