A Surprisingly good and satisfying purchase for cheap, as this is solid 4 songs of Italian [relatively "still-early"] hardstyle inspired by the ever pervasive Dutch (and German street festival) hardcore scene, is a nice addition to the hard electronica collection.There were no scans before I uploaded iPhone pics, either because no-one wanted to put their vinyl on a scanner bed, or the prevailing attitude may have been that the pictures on the disc were a deterrent to potential buyers. Yeah, the front looks like an advertisement for a vaping pen, and the flip side looks like scenes from a Sesame Street rehearsal. Anyway...While maybe not pounding jump-style or brutally goofy gabber, these songs may [mildly] shock some fanatics as actually good and worthile. Engaging and immediately appealing; and in a couple cases (so that's half of the 4 songs of course) atmospheric in an almost ethereal way-- like some recent Teutonic mechanistic/industrial tribal techno that comes to mind; so again: surprise!This is a clear case of excellent producers utilizing their studio wizardry (probably in a very nice, high-end studio) to project their mature song crafting skills-- and hipness.Perhaps not as hard as [fellow Italians] CORE PUSHER's "Devil Down" (also released in Y2K) but "FABRICA MEKANIKA" sits equally well alongside that one, too.
