Mastered beautifully."Locomotive" sounds like it's straight from the 70s, with shades of Cream, Jethro Tull, and Ten Years After."Black Book of Fear" is an entirely different beast, reminiscent of Mother Love Bone and the great 90s grunge ballads. It is actually my favorite between the two tracks. Mark Lanegan really shines on this one. The lyrics really sound like Layne Staley- did he write them and just not get a chance to sing them? The guitar at the bridge is reminiscent of vintage Brian Eno tunes.Note: does not say 45 RPM anywhere on the disc or packaging, but it is.

Beazerdred
I don't know why this originally said 2 stars. I have always viewed this as a 5-star record.

Flocton
Yeah, 2 out of 5 stars doesn't seem appropriate given the praise he makes. Odd duck.

Zulkigis
Do you typically rate your releases on sound quality or just based on your thoughts of the album in general from a artistic standpoint? Still haven't figured out how people rate stuff on here.

"Note: does not say 45 RPM anywhere on the disc or packaging, but it is. "They call them 45's for a reason.
