I found this album by chance while browsing on Amazon, and snapped it up after checking out some samples online. It's a graceful blend of new age and rhythmic ambient/EM with clear aquatic themes, and an uplifting, progressively more tranquil vibe throughout. More than one piece raised the hairs on the back of my neck -- something that can't be said for many albums in my collection. The vocals on A Different Sea caught me by surprise, but they work, and show that the artist isn't trying to make just another water-themed ambient album. He's making electronic music for the love of it. This is sure to become an ambient favourite of mine.
