This is a sweet slice of laid back, bossa-inflected West Coast cool jazz from sax player Plas Johnson using a pseudonym - maybe because this album was originally meant to be sold in supermarkets and gas stations on the budget CRC label and Plas was signed to a different label at the time. Session men behind him are tops and keep it tight. High quality playing all around, which is not surprising since along with Plas, Earl Palmer and Emil Richards were part of the infamous Wrecking Crew.
