"Rue, For Widow” begins with some jangly guitar chords that sound out of place on an Emaciator tape. A buzzing drone persists in the background but the frequent guitar strums seem to mar the atmosphere throughout. Borges has consistently quality output, but this piece feels like a dud."Resilient Shadow” is an ominous metallic tone, phasing with ghostly washes that enter subtly and start to weave around the central pulsation. Well executed and a huge step up from the audio on side A. The tail end is an unexpected triumphant wall of tone, much softer and lightly modulated. Feels like a Palestine organ droner.
