Notes

Here's a collection of twenty-three privately recorded R&B and Psych tracks. As these have been rescued from virtually totalled acetates, which themselves were often recorded primitively, the sound lacks a certain hi-fi quality.

This album was originally released on vinyl as Various - Purple Heart Surgery Volume 2 . The CD features all of Volume 1 and Side 1 of Volume 2. Look out for further releases.

Track 1 is listed as "Green Eyes" and was credited to "Unknown" at the time of release but has since been identified as Neil Christian & The Crusaders.

Track 8 was credited to "Unknown" at the time of release, but has since been determined to be Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera.

Track 21 is rumored to be a band called Strange Brew though this has not been verified.
