Recorded on April 20, 1953 at WOR Studios, New York City.
All trasfers from analog to digital were made at 24-bit resolution.
#7-11 were transferred from the original analog tapes.
The original 12" issue of tracks #1-5 & 11 was Blue Note BLP 1501.
The original 12" issue of tracks #6, 9 & 10 was Blue Note BLP 1502.
#1-6 originally issued on 10" LP 5022.

Because this CD does not conform in content to the original 12" LP, we have not included the original liner notes. The original LP mixed various sessions in incomplete form. This CD reisuue presents the music of each session as it was recorded and in complete form.
