I have two copies of this record with purple Regular labels, but with different sets of runout matrix etchings. The sound of the two records is vastly different, it must have gotten a remastering on that same purple label. One record has handwritten etchings - side A: SMX56815 P2B side B: SMX56816 P2C The sound in this record is louder, but thin and all high end. The other record has partly stamped runout etchings - side A: SMX 56815-2 8A2 side B: SMX 56816-2 8A This record is lower in volume, but fuller in sound with a massive beautiful bass.

Hey mate, In the same year of release, they re-recorded the album for the US market. I remember I always had this on Cassette, when I got the CD, I hated I Cant Help Myself because the organ was further back in the Mix. It wasn't until I got the American version in 2003, that the version I knew and loved was there. I have MX20689 which has the better mix. There are definately three masters of this album. Would be good to look for UPCs and compare.
