The oddity known as the 'Canadian Single Version' was released in 1983 to promote 'The Hurting' in Canada.
Instead of using the Hughes/Cullum recording found on the album itself, the record company instead released a unique edit of the original Mike Howlett- produced extended version.

I bought this single and paid a good price for shipping but it was not the record I intended, I know it stated no record 2 just A and B in Good condition but it was just a ex jukebox single in a plain sleeve, yet it was advertised under the Canadian rare double pack, very disappointed, so now I'm looking for the DOUBLE PACK CANADIAN RELEASE. The record it self is in mint condition though, and arrived in good time, must learn to read the advert more as it does state "record may vary from the item shown, well this one certainly did!
